Description

XML/HTML editing of all kinds of texts, following TEI (Text Encoding Initiative) conventions, for their use as an electronic source of information.

All the documents and materials under revision or translation will be treated with the confidentiality expected in such processes.

Added Value

The researchers offering this service are qualified linguists with an expertise in the compilation and XML and HTML tagging of large collections of texts. Such an expertise is the result of their work as compilers and editors of electronic corpora of English scientific texts. Likewise, they also have experience in the creation and handling of metadata and in the design and editing of websites.

Applications according to Sector

One of the applications of this service is to facilitate the constrastive study and analysis of texts, allowing the incorporation (and retrieval) of metadata with additional information on the texts. In addition, this service can also be useful for the categorisation and location of all kinds of documents, including those of corporate character. Likewise, it can also be applied to the publication of texts in digital format (including HTML).

XML technology can be applied to any field.
