Faculty of Philology

Description

Language revision of scientific and technical texts in English, Spanish and/or Galician for their publication in specialised journals.

Translation of written papers for their publication. Direct and inverse translation is offered for the three languages (Galician, Spanish and English).

Revision, translation, adaptation and correction of abstracts in the three languages (Spanish, Galician and English).

All the documents and materials under revision or translation will be treated with the confidentiality expected in such processes.

Added Value

The researchers offering this service are qualified linguists with expertise in technical and scientific registers. Such a specialisation is a result of their extense experience in the compilation and tagging of corpora of scientific texts published in English from the 18th century onwards, as well as in translation of academic papers.

Apart from that, our researchers are regularly published in prestigious international journals and are therefore familiar with the complex process of editing and publishing.

Applications according to Sector

Each document will be dealt with individually, depending on the field of knowledge to which it belongs. We also offer the possibility to adapt the texts to the formal guidelines stated in the journal or publishing house where they are intended to be published.

This service is applicable to any field of knowledge.
